Services

I offer individual counselling and psychotherapy in Castlemaine and Carlton North. I also offer online and telephone therapy to people in Australia and overseas.

A standard session time is 50 minutes. Weekly or fortnightly sessions are the norm, but I’m happy to discuss other arrangements.

I offer appointments on:

  • Monday: 2pm – 9pm (Carlton and online)
  • Wednesday: 10am – 4pm (Castlemaine and online)
  • Thursday: 10am – 5pm (Castlemaine and online)
  • Friday: 10am – 1pm (Castlemaine and online)

(If you click on the “Book Now” link, you’ll be directed to a calendar showing my current availabilities on these days).

Bookings can be made by clicking on the “Book Now” link or by contacting me on 0417 212 110 or rhys@hereandnowcounselling.com.au. If you have any questions, or if you would like to have an initial chat, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Fees

Sessions cost $100 for clients in Castlemaine or online, and $110 for clients in Carlton North.

While I don’t offer Medicare rebates, my fees are adjusted so they are similar to the out-of-pocket expenses one would pay with a psychologist. For people interested in medium- or long-term psychotherapy, my services are likely to be more affordable than those of therapists offering Medicare rebates, who become more expensive when the rebate runs out.

I offer some concession spots for for health care card holders, students, and people experiencing financial hardship. Please contact me to discuss your options.

Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to scheduled appointments. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice incur a 1/2 session fee (which is waived if the appointment is changed to an available time within the same week).
